Vladimir Guerrero blasted a homerun and had 2 RBI as the Philadelphia Phranks
topped the Sunshine State Stalkers by a score of 3 to 1 at Dolphins
Stadium.
 
In the top of the 6th inning Philadelphia scored 2 runs.  David Ortiz started
the inning off right when he drew a walk.  Guerrero next to the plate and he
blasted a two-run home run (his 1st of the season).  Takashi Saito was
perfect in relief and got the save, his 1st.  
 
The victory went to Chad Billingsley(1-0) who went 5 innings, allowing 1 run.
Justin Verlander(0-1) suffered the loss.  He surrendered 3 runs and 7 hits in
5 innings.
