Due to a poorly pitched ballgame, scoring in 5 different innings was still not enough for Colorado to come away with the victory. Cole Hamels(1-0) allowed 6 runs in 8 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the victory. Kerry Wood gained credit for his 1st save. Eddie Guardado(1-2) was the losing pitcher in relief. Toronto totaled 11 hits on the night. The victory went to Ron Mahay(1-1) who went 4 innings, allowing no runs. Dan Giese(0-1) was tagged with the loss in relief.
