The Sunshine State fans enjoyed the offense provided by Milton Bradley. He doubled which was good for two runs in the 2nd inning, lifted one out of the park for a two run home run (his 1st of the season) in the 4th inning and doubled in the 8th inning. Sunshine State banged out 13 hits on the night. Hiroki Kuroda(1-0) allowed 4 runs in 6 innings, and picked up the victory. Ben Sheets(0-1) was charged with the loss. He allowed 11 hits and 3 walks in 5 and 2/3 innings.
