'You probably have a better chance of winning the lottery than this happening,' said Perez who got credit for the win, 'I don't expect it to sink in for awhile.' he said. 'You know, it's hard to say who was better, the starter or the bullpen!' John Lackey(13-5) pitched well for Yardley in their victory. He surrendered 8 hits and 3 walks in 7 innings. Lackey was helped out by Francisco Rodriguez who pitched a perfect ninth and recorded his 25th save. Javier Vazquez(9-11) took the loss. He was touched for 13 hits and 2 walks in 7 and 1/3 innings. 'I always am most impressed when a pitcher finds a way to win even without his best stuff,' Joe Torre said after the game. 'Lackey did not have command of his pitches most of the afternoon, but he proved he really knew how to pitch!' Bot 5th: Orlando Hudson robbed Eric Byrnes of a base hit. Top 6th: Juan Pierre robbed Dmitri Young of a Homerun! Tim Hudson carried a no-hitter into the 6th inning as the Atlanta Prohibitioners beat the Binghamton Brawlers by a score of 2 to 0. Hudson(10-9) pitched one of his finer games as he simply was too much for the Binghamton batters. He gave up just 4 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings reducing his ERA from 3.83 to 3.62. The right-handed Hudson lost his no-hit bid when Jose Reyes singled with two outs in the 6th inning. Neither team managed to score after the 2nd inning. Ian Snell(8-13) was charged with the loss. He surrendered 2 runs and 4 hits in 7 innings. 'All of my pitches were working today,' Hudson said. 'I felt really good out there, and heck, I think I could have gone longer.'
