WEB GEMS- Top 1st: Mark Teixeira robbed Aubrey Huff of a base hit.

Right fielder Jermaine Dye slammed 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI and Gavin Floyd
had a strong outing as the Yardley Oaks crushed the Cherry Hill Maulers 11 to
1.

Dye had a great day at the plate. He had the crowd cheering his every move.
He laced a base-hit in the 3rd inning, cleared the fences for a two-run home
run in the 6th inning and rifled a three-run blast (his 8th of the season) in
the 8th inning. Yardley banged out 17 hits on the afternoon.

Floyd(2-2) allowed 1 run on the game. The loss was charged to C.C.
Sabathia(1-2). He was unable to control the Yardley offense and allowed 6
hits and 3 walks in 2 and 2/3 innings.

Floyd was obviously very pleased with his performance in the aftermath of the
game, 'It was just one of those games where everything worked. My arm felt
great, heck, I could have pitched another two or three innings. I only hope
that I can do it again next time out!'
