Armando Galarraga allowed just 2 hits as the sizzling Cherry Hill Maulers
defeated the Toronto Scrub AL 1 by the score of 5 to 1 at US Cellular
Field.

Cherry Hill took the lead for good in the 3rd inning scoring 2 runners on 2
hits. That early scoring was all that Galarraga(5-1) needed. Cherry Hill
banged out 7 hits on the night.

The loss was charged to Andy Pettitte(3-2). He gave up 4 hits and 4 walks in
5 and 2/3 innings. Cito Gaston was obviously impressed with the pitching of
Galarraga, 'That guy made us look a little silly out there tonight. We just
couldn't get to him at all - everything was working for him. I just hope
that he got that kinda performance out of his system.'
