Derek Lowe(3-7) had a solid outing for Atlanta. He went 6 and 2/3 innings surrendering 4 hits and 3 walks. Lowe struckout 7 Sunshine State batters lowering his ERA from 3.99 to 3.71. Atlanta had 10 hits for the afternoon. Hiroki Kuroda(8-6) was the loser. He got hit hard, allowing 6 hits and 2 walks in 2 and 1/3 innings.
