Gabe Kapler came next and he doubled. Carlos Ruiz was the next batter, but he struck out. Jose Reyes was up next and he was walked intentionally to load the bases. After another out, Atkins stepped in and he doubled giving Binghamton the win and sending the home town fans into a frenzy. Binghamton had 9 hits for the night. Carlos Villanueva(2-0) allowed no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the victory. Jon Rauch(4-5) was the loser in relief. He gave up 3 hits and 1 walk in 2 and 2/3 innings.
