Hong-Chih Kuo mowed down 13 Washington batters at Dolphins Stadium as the
red-hot Sunshine State Stalkers beat the floundering Washington Scrub NL 1 by
the count of 6 to 1.

Kuo(7-4) dominated Washington hitters. He gave up just 4 hits and 2 walks in
9 innings. Sunshine State finished with 10 hits in the victory.

Edwin Jackson(6-10) was the loser. He was knocked around pretty good, giving
up 6 runs in 5 innings. Kuo was obviously very pleased with his performance
in the aftermath of the game, 'It was just one of those games where
everything worked. My arm felt great, heck, I could have pitched another two
or three innings. I only hope that I can do it again next time out!'
