Drew provided much of the offense. He doubled in the 3rd inning, lined a single scoring two baserunners in the 4th inning and doubled plating two runs in the 7th inning. Philadelphia kept the scorekeepers busy in the 5th inning with 4 runs on 4 hits, the 7th inning when they had 9 runs on 7 hits and the 9th inning when they had 4 runs on 3 hits. Overall Philadelphia out-hit Colorado 20 to 9. Jimenez(18-8) was the winner allowing 3 runs in 7 innings. Kyle Davies(3-5) absorbed the loss. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 7 hits and 3 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings. 'He was really impressive today,' Davies said of his counterpart. 'Our guys were just swinging at air.' He brought the hometown folks to their feet with a Grand Slammer (his 17th of the season) in the 3rd inning and doubled plating a run in the 7th inning. Overall Detroit out-hit Toronto 11 to 4. The losing pitcher was Andy Sonnanstine(9-16). He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 7 runs in 2 and 2/3 innings.
