The Washington Scrub NL 1 had an easy time of it at Turner Field defeating the
ice-cold Atlanta Prohibitioners by a score of 8 to 2.

Washington scored the decisive runs in a big top of the 8th inning scoring 4

two-run home run. Washington had 12 hits for the afternoon while Atlanta had
8.

Juan Gutierrez(2-0) went 2 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory.
