He surrendered 5 hits and 2 walks in 1 and 2/3 innings. Morrow was humble when questioned about his performance, 'Well, I felt pretty confident in my pitches this afternoon. But, I had great support behind me and I just threw what was called. That was an extremely well called game!'

Sabathia mowed down 11 Atlanta batters and designated hitter Miguel Cabrera had 4 hits and 4 RBI as the seemingly unstoppable Cherry Hill Maulers beat the reeling Atlanta Prohibitioners in 10 innings by a score of 6 to 4. Both teams were tied at 4 runs apiece after nine innings. Cherry Hill won the game in the 10th inning. After two outs Brett Gardner got things rolling when he delivered a one-base hit. Cabrera next to the plate and he blasted a two-run home run making Cherry Hill the victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration. Both teams ended up with 9 hits on the night. Sabathia(11-6) was the winner allowing 4 runs for the game. Bronson Arroyo(7-10) was tagged with the loss. When asked about his strikeout total for the game, Sabathia offered, 'The fan's really got into it. It is fun to see them tally up the strikeout totals up there in the stands. Fortunately, I kept them busy tonight - of course, it would be all for naught without the 'W'.'
