the final run of the inning. Minnesota managed 18 in their victory.

Corey Patterson had 2 base hits as the Oakland Scrub AL2 defeated the Atlanta
Prohibitioners by the score of 4 to 1 at Turner Field.

Oakland brought 3 runs across the plate in the 6th inning when they had 3 base
hits. Brian Schneider led off the inning for Oakland when he laced a
base-hit. David Eckstein struck out, unable to help the rally. Patterson

Chone Figgins had 2 base hits and Roy Halladay blanked Boston in a very
well-pitched complete game as the Cherry Hill Maulers outscored the Boston
Stranglers 9 to 0.

Halladay(19-3) looked very much in control throughout the night. He was
stingy on the mound, allowing just 8 hits and no walks in 9 innings. The
pitchers took over after the 3rd inning as neither team was able to score
again.

Javier Vazquez(11-13) was charged with the loss. He was not very effective,
surrendering 9 runs in 2 and 2/3 innings. The Cherry Hill ballclub's record
now stands at a division leading 86-48. Boston has a record of 71-67 after
the loss.
