The highlight belonged to Chone Figgins who deflated the spirits of the home town crowd when he laced a one-base hit which was good for two runs. Hideki Okajima pitched a perfect ninth to earn his 3rd save. Roy Oswalt(16-6) went 7 and 1/3 innings allowing 2 runs for the victory. Matt Lindstrom(4-1) was tagged with the loss in relief. He surrendered 3 runs and 3 hits in 2/3 of an inning. He doubled in the 1st inning, stroked a single in the 2nd inning and lofted a three-run bomb (his 12th of the season) in the 4th inning. For the game Colorado out-hit Toronto 18 to 11. The winning pitcher was Matt Morris(4-19) who allowed 5 runs in 5 innings. Eric O'Flaherty(0-1) took the loss in relief. He surrendered 3 runs in 2 and 2/3 innings and saw his ERA increase from 3.48 to 4.85.
