The Oakland Scrub AL2 eventually emerged as victors over the Yardley Oaks by the score of 1 to 0. Looper pitched a solid game. He was reached for 5 hits and no walks in 6 and 1/3 innings. Yardley had a chance in the 9th but they came up short. Looper got help from Todd Jones who earned his 17th save.
