Robinson Cano had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Minnesota SnowBirds topped the
Pinehurst Pin Oaks by a score of 5 to 3 at Metrodome.
 
Santiago Casilla(4-2) won the game with a masterful relief performance.  He
allowed just 1 hit and no walks in 2 and 1/3 innings.  The teams had been
locked in a scoreless duel until the 7th inning.  
 
The losing pitcher was Joakim Soria(2-2) in relief.  His ERA increased from
3.74 to 4.91 as he allowed 3 runs in 1/3 of an inning.

At Citizen's Bank Park the amazing Sea Isle SeaGulls outscored the
Philadelphia Phranks 5 to 2.
 
Philadelphia never recovered after Sea Isle took the lead in the 2nd inning
plating an isolated run using 2 hits.  Bobby Jenks was perfect in relief and
got the save, his 29th.  
 
The victory went to Ted Lilly(18-11) who went 6 innings, allowing 2 runs. Tim
Lincecum(5-4) suffered the loss.  He pitched 7 innings giving up 7 hits and 1
walk.

In a tight game it was the Sunshine State Stalkers 3, the Washington Scrub NL1
1 at Dolphins Stadium.
 
Sunshine State went ahead for good in the bottom of the 7th inning scoring one
runner.  Ryan Ludwick delivered a base-hit, and an error was also committed.
Kevin Youkilis came to the plate and drew a walk.  Jack Wilson then laid down
a sacrifice bunt.  Russell Martin was up next and he would ground out scoring
the run.  Sunshine State rapped out 8 hits for the night.  
 
The win went to Derrick Turnbow(3-5) who allowed no runs in 2 and 2/3 innings.
Turnbow got relief help from Jason Isringhausen who gained credit for his
32nd save.  Chris Bootcheck(2-5) was hit with the loss in relief.  He allowed
1 run and 1 hit in 2/3 of an inning.

Bonderman(11-11) was virtually untouchable.  He was stingy on the mound,
allowing just 2 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings.  Detroit finished with just 5
hits in the victory.  
 
Roy Oswalt(18-7) absorbed the loss.  He surrendered 4 runs and 5 hits in 8
innings.  'I've been working on a few things in my delivery, and I think I'm
hitting a good groove.' Bonderman said after the game.  'I'm ready to start
another game tomorrow!'

Orlando Hudson had 3 base hits and 3 RBI as the Binghamton Brawlers defeated
the Colorado Scrub NL2 by the score of 7 to 2 at Shea Stadium.
 
Kyle Kendrick(8-7) gave Binghamton a solid outing.  He went 7 and 2/3 innings
surrendering 6 hits and 3 walks and served up 2 'big flies'.  Binghamton
finished with 11 hits while Colorado ended up with 6.  
 
Julian Tavarez(7-12) was the loser.  He was unable to control the Binghamton
offense and allowed 7 hits and 4 walks in 3 and 2/3 innings.

8,247 fans watched an exciting game at Turner Field.  The Atlanta
Prohibitioners topped the Wall St Millionaires by the slimmest of margins, 4
to 3.
 
The game was deadlocked at 2 after nine full innings.  Atlanta ended up
winning it in the 18th inning.  After an out was recorded, Todd Helton was
the sparkplug when he singled.  Ryan Spilborghs came next and he drew a walk.
Mike Lamb then drew a walk to load the bases.  Brian McCann followed and he
doubled resulting in an exciting win for Atlanta and a raucous post-game
celebration by the home town fans.  Atlanta finished with 11 hits in the
victory.  
 
The win was credited to Jonathan Broxton(2-3) who went 1/3 of an inning
allowing no runs. Tony Pena(2-1) took the loss in relief.  He surrendered 2
runs and 2 hits in 1/3 of an inning.

The Boston Stranglers tallied 4 runs in the 6th inning and cruised to a 6 to 1
victory over the Toronto Scrub AL1 at Fenway Park.
 
Boston jumped on top to stay in the 2nd inning when they scored 2 runs on 2
hits.  That early scoring held up.  Both teams finished the game with 8 hits.
 
The winning pitcher was Daisuke Matsuzaka(10-9) who allowed no runs in 7
innings. The losing pitcher was Mike Mussina(10-12).  He gave up 3 runs and 4
hits in 5 innings.

John Lackey went the distance and first baseman Mark Teixeira had 3 base hits
and 4 RBI as the Yardley Oaks clobbered the outmatched league door-mat
Oakland Scrub AL2, 20 to 1.
 
Teixeira had a big evening at the plate.  He banged out a single bringing in a
run in the 2nd inning, stroked a one-base hit in the 7th inning and doubled
scoring two baserunners in the 8th inning.  Yardley bats were very productive
in the 2nd inning with 4 runs, the 3rd inning scoring 5 runs and the 9th
inning when they had 4 runs on 4 hits.  Yardley simply wore out the Oakland
pitching staff, scoring in 6 different innings.  
 
Lackey(17-7) was the winner allowing 1 run for the game. Chad Gaudin(8-20) was
the loser.  He surrendered 6 runs and 4 hits in 1 and 2/3 innings.
