WEB GEMS- Top 5th: Shane Victorino robbed Adam Dunn of an extra base hit.

At Citizen's Bank Park, the Philadelphia faithful were treated to an
intriguing pitcher's duel. Jeff Bennett(1-0) finally bested his Philadelphia
counterpart, Jamie Moyer(1-1), by the score of 2 to 1.

Sunshine State claimed the early lead in the first inning when they tallied 2
runs on 1 hit. That early scoring was all that Bennett needed. Philadelphia
had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.

Bennett got help from Kevin Gregg who was credited with his 1st save. Moyer
absorbed the loss. He allowed 2 runs and 3 hits in 9 innings.

'We didn't get the key hits when we needed them' Charlie Manual said. 'We did
what we could, we just didn't pull out the win. What can you say?'

Josh Hamilton launched 2 homeruns and had 6 RBI at PNC Park where the Sea Isle
Seagulls beat the Binghamton Brawlers by the score of 13 to 5.

Hamilton really 'lit it up' for Sea Isle. He rifled a three-run blast in the
1st inning, singled in the 2nd inning and rifled a three-run blast (his 2nd
of the season) in the 5th inning. Sea Isle out-hit Binghamton for the game,
17 hits to 9.

The win went to Paul Maholm(2-0) who allowed 5 runs in 7 innings. Jorge
Campillo(1-1) was tagged with the loss. 'Hamilton led the way - we just
jumped on his back and let him take us,' Maholm said. 'I'm glad I don't have
to face him. I'm glad he's on my team.'
