Binghamton had the winning rally in the 9th inning with 3 runs using 2 hits. Alfredo Amezaga led off and keyed the rally when he doubled. Two outs later Gabe Kapler came to the plate and drew a walk. Jayson Werth then lofted a three-run bomb (his 1st of the season). Chad Qualls was perfect in relief and gained credit for his 1st save. Ryan Madson(1-0) got the win allowing no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings. Manny Corpas(1-2) was the losing pitcher in relief. Jerry Manuel was all smiles after the game, 'To pull a game out in your last at bats, is a beautiful feeling - and did you see how quiet it got out there?
