as they scored in 6 different innings.

Joe Saunders(0-1) was hit with the loss. He served up 4 homeruns in his 5

felt pretty confident in my pitches tonight. But, I had great support behind
me and I just threw what was called. That was an extremely well called
game!'

Right fielder Jermaine Dye had 4 hits and 3 RBI and Ted Lilly was able to
finish what he started and was credited with a complete game at Rogers Centre
as the Yardley Oaks embarrassed the Toronto Scrub AL 1 by the lopsided score
of 12 to 2.

The Toronto fans didn't appreciate the big day Dye had. He doubled plating
two runs in the 1st inning, smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' (his 2nd of the
season) in the 4th inning, doubled in the 6th inning and hit a single in the
7th inning. Yardley rapped out 15 hits for the night.

Lilly(1-0) finished the game allowing 2 runs in the victory. The loss was
charged to Jon Garland(0-1). His biggest problem was control as he allowed 7
walks in 4 innings.
