Prince Fielder touched them all and had 3 RBI and David Bush allowed just 3
hits as the Sunshine State Stalkers defeated the Cherry Hill Maulers by a
score of 10 to 3 at US Cellular Field.

Fielder was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided
much of the offense for the visitors. He smashed a solo-shot out of the park
(his 2nd of the season) in the 3rd inning, doubled scoring a run in the 5th
inning and laced a single plating a run in the 8th inning. Sunshine State
had 14 hits for the night.

The winning pitcher was Bush(1-0) who allowed 3 runs for the game. Armando
Galarraga(0-1) was the losing pitcher. He was unable to control the Sunshine
State offense and allowed 9 hits and 5 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.

WEB GEMS- Top 5th: Ivan Rodriguez blocked the plate, saving a run!

One run was the difference at Citizen's Bank Park as the Philadelphia Phranks
defeated the Pinehurst PinOaks 7 to 6.

Philadelphia set the tone of the game in the first inning scoring one runner
utilizing 3 base hits. Pinehurst made it exciting in the 9th, but they were
unable to push the needed runs across.

Ubaldo Jimenez(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing 4 runs in 5 and 2/3
innings. Brad Lidge earned the save, his 1st. Mike Mussina(0-1) was given
the loss. He gave up 13 hits and no walks in 8 innings.

Dave Trembley was in a contemplative mood after the tough loss, 'It is really
hard to lose this kind of a game. It may seem weird to some, but it is
easier to take the occasional blow-out loss. It is the ones that just barely
get away that hurt so much - like this one!'
