First baseman Mark Teixeira launched 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Yardley
Oaks defeated the Wall St Millionaires 12 to 9 at Yankee Stadium.

Teixeira was in a groove all day. He doubled in the 4th inning, lost the ball
over the fence for three runs in the 5th inning and lofted a solo-blast
'downtown' (his 2nd of the season) in the 8th inning. Wall St scored in 6
different innings, but their shaky pitching kept them from victory.

The win was credited to Joba Chamberlain(1-0) who went 3 innings allowing 1
run. The loss was charged to J.C. Romero(0-1) in relief. He pitched 2/3 of
an inning allowing 1 hit and 3 walks.
