The Wall St Millionaires edged the Colorado Scrub NL 2 in 11 innings at
Wrigley Field by the score of 7 to 6.

The game was deadlocked at 5 after nine full innings. Wall St won it in the
11th inning. Albert Pujols drew a walk. Furcal took off for second and slid
in with a stolen base. Ryan Speier then unleashed a wild pitch. Carlos
Beltran dug into the batters box next, but he struck out. Jody Gerut came to
the plate and slapped a one-base hit giving Wall St the victory and sending
the 40,590 home-town fans home happy. A wild and woolly affair, this game
saw the lead change 5 times.

The win was credited to Matt Capps(2-1) who went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no
runs. Speier(1-1) suffered the loss in relief. He surrendered 1 hit and 1
walk in 2/3 of an inning.

With this win, Wall St has a 12-13 record. They have been 3-7 lately.
Colorado has a record of 8-17, worst in the division after the loss.

Rich Harden dominated striking out 11 Toronto batters and Jermaine Dye smacked
2 homeruns and had 5 RBI as the Yardley Oaks ballclub embarrassed the
ice-cold Toronto Scrub AL 1 by the count of 13 to 1.

It seemed that Toronto pitching was serving up softballs for Dye to hit. He
doubled in the 1st inning, lofted a three-run 'big-fly' in the 5th inning and
blasted a solo shot (his 6th of the season) in the 8th inning. Yardley
provided plenty of action in the 8th inning with 4 runs on 6 hits. Yardley
kept the pressure on throughout the contest as they scored in 6 different
innings.

The winning pitcher was Harden(3-0) who allowed 1 run for the game. Andy
Pettitte(2-2) took the loss. When asked about his strikeout total for the
game, Harden offered, 'The fan's really got into it. It is fun to see them
tally up the strikeout totals up there in the stands. Fortunately, I kept
them busy tonight - of course, it would be all for naught without the 'W'.'
