Carlos Pena jacked one out of the ballyard and had 4 RBI as the Minnesota
SnowBirds defeated the Oakland Scrub AL 2 by a score of 10 to 4 at McAfee
Coliseum.

Pena was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided
much of the offense for the visitors. He lost the ball over the fence for
three runs (his 6th of the season) in the 1st inning, tripled in the 3rd
inning and lashed a single resulting in a run in the 6th inning.
Offensively, Minnesota was a juggernaut. They scored in 6 separate innings.

Josh Beckett(2-0) went 5 and 1/3 innings allowing 4 runs for the win. Beckett
got help from Sean Green who earned his 1st save. Doug Davis(0-3) took the
loss. He got hit hard, allowing 10 hits and 5 walks in 5 and 1/3 innings.
