Randy Wolf(2-2) gave a fine effort for Washington. He went 5 innings allowing 3 hits and 3 walks. Detroit had a chance in the 9th but they came up short. Wolf got help from Francisco Cordero who was credited with his 4th save. A.J. Burnett(3-2) took the loss. Despite the loss, he struckout 10 Washington batters in 6 innings.
