Sabathia got help from Francisco Rodriguez who earned his 8th save. Brian Wilson(0-3) ended up with the loss in relief. Sabathia was humble when questioned about his performance, 'Well, I felt pretty confident in my pitches this afternoon. But, I had great support behind me and I just threw what was called. That was an extremely well called game!'
