Center fielder Shane Victorino had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Philadelphia
Phranks outscored the Minnesota SnowBirds 6 to 5.

Philadelphia scored the deciding run in the bottom of the 8th inning. David
Wright was hit by a pitch. Joey Votto was next and he doubled. After an out
was recorded, Ryan Doumit came up and he would ground out. Minnesota was not
lacking for run support as they scored in 5 separate innings, yet victory
eluded them as they seemed to forget that pitching is also needed to win
ballgames.

The win went to Hong-Chih Kuo(1-0) who allowed no runs in 1 inning. Brad Lidge
earned the save, his 5th. Matt Garza(4-2) was hit with the loss. He gave up
6 runs and 6 hits in 7 innings.
