Peavy got help from Kerry Wood who earned his 12th save. Jesse Litsch(1-6) was hit with the loss. He was hit hard and gave up 9 hits and 2 walks in 6 and 1/3 innings. Sea Isle won for the 6th straight time. 'I'm glad to get the win', Peavy said. 'We've got some good momentum going now.' What a day for the Binghamton Brawlers! They shellacked the Yardley Oaks pitching for 10 runs while Jorge Campillo(2-6), with relief help from Ryan Madson, surrendered 2 runs to Yardley. Binghamton started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of the first with 3 runs on 3 hits. Jose Reyes led off and keyed the rally when he tripled. Orlando Hudson stepped up to the plate and he slapped a base-hit. Carlos Lee then blasted a two-run home run (his 8th of the season). After an out was recorded, Jayson Werth came to the plate and drew a walk. Randy Winn stepped into the box and grounded into a double play. That early run support was enough for Campillo and Binghamton. Binghamton totaled 8 hits on the afternoon. Campillo got help from Madson who was credited with his 4th save. Justin Duchscherer(2-2) suffered the loss. The Binghamton ballclub's record now stands at 18-27. With the loss Yardley now has a record of 27-18.
