Konerko provided the offensive punch. He smashed a two-run homer in the 1st inning and bombed a two-run dinger (his 6th of the season) in the 8th inning. Colorado had a chance in the 9th but they came up short. Jon Rauch(4-3) got the win allowing 1 run in 2 and 1/3 innings. Oliver Perez(1-6) ended up with the loss. He went 6 and 1/3 innings surrendering 5 hits and 4 walks. Both teams ended up with 8 hits on the night. Wolf got help from Dennis Sarfate who was credited with his 3rd save. Greg Maddux(3-4) took the loss. He surrendered 8 hits and 2 walks in 8 innings.
