Binghamton was victorious in the 11th inning. After an out was recorded, Jayson Werth got things rolling when he delivered a single. One out later, Jose Reyes stepped up to the plate and he drew a walk. Alfredo Amezaga then drew a walk to load the bases. Garrett Atkins followed and he drew a walk. Carlos Lee came to the plate and slapped a base-hit. Derrek Lee did his part to keep things going and stroked a single to load the bases. Randy Winn followed, but he was set down on strikes. Binghamton ended up with 17 hits for the game while Washington had 12. The win went to Joe Nelson(1-2) who allowed no runs in 2 innings. Dennis Sarfate(3-1) suffered the loss in relief. He gave up 2 runs and 1 hit in 2 and 1/3 innings.
