Philadelphia came out on top in the 14th inning. Freddy Sanchez got things going when he reached on an error. After an out was recorded, Jack Wilson came to the plate and doubled, and an error was also committed. Philadelphia banged out 16 hits on the night. Salomon Torres(2-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 3 innings. Heath Bell was credited with his 2nd save. Will Ohman(0-2) was the losing pitcher in relief.
