Coco Crisp rocketed 2 homeruns at McAfee Coliseum as the Yardley Oaks beat the
dreadful Oakland Scrub AL 2 10 to 5.

Crisp enjoyed a big evening at the plate. He smashed a solo-shot out of the
park in the 3rd inning, cleared the bases with a Grand Slam homerun (his 3rd
of the season) in the 4th inning and doubled knocking in a run in the 8th
inning. Yardley banged out 9 hits on the night.

Gavin Floyd(10-3) got credit for the victory, pitching 5 innings and allowing
5 runs. Greg Smith(5-10) ended up with the loss. He allowed Yardley 6 runs
in 3 and 1/3 innings of work.

Yardley now has a record of 44-38. Oakland can't seem to snap out of their
recent 'funk'. Now they have a miserable 1-9 record over the last couple
weeks.

runs. Matt Capps got the save, his 12th. The losing pitcher was Zach

First baseman James Loney homered and had 2 RBI and Ricky Nolasco whiffed 10
batters as the Atlanta Prohibitioners defeated the Washington Scrub NL 1 9 to
1 at Turner Field.

Nolasco(12-6) was very good in the win. He didn't allow much, just 6 hits and
no walks in 7 and 1/3 innings. Atlanta finished with 13 hits while
Washington ended up with 6.

Braden Looper(5-7) absorbed the loss. He was knocked around, surrendering 7
runs in 3 and 1/3 innings. Everyone seemed to enjoy the performance of
Nolasco - except Washington. Manny Acta lamented, 'He just was 'on' tonight.
He was keeping our guys off balance all game. A fine game by a good
strikeout pitcher - makes it a fun game for the hometown fans - unfortunately
we were the visitors!'
