Bot 6th: Michael Young robbed Magglio Ordonez of a base hit.

Manny Ramirez ripped 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at US Cellular Field as the very
talented Cherry Hill Maulers beat the Detroit 40's 7 to 6.

Ramirez enjoyed a big day at the plate. He bombed a two-run dinger in the 1st
inning and delivered a solo blast (his 26th of the season) in the 7th inning.
Detroit made it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the needed
runs across.

Mike Mussina(8-5) was the winner allowing 4 runs in 6 innings. Francisco
Rodriguez earned his 28th save. Aaron Cook(6-8) was given the loss. Despite
losing Jim Leyland was optimistic after the game. 'We'll get over this one.
Sometimes the breaks fall your way, sometimes they don't. Any one of a dozen
little things go different, and we come out on top.'
