Rich Harden went 6 strong innings as the Yardley Oaks defeated the dreadful
Oakland Scrub AL 2 by the score of 2 to 0 at McAfee Coliseum.

Harden(5-1) was indeed brilliant as he hand-cuffed the Oakland offense. He
allowed only no hits and 1 walk in 6 innings. Harden mowed down 7 Oakland
batters. Overall Yardley out-hit Oakland 7 to 2.

Harden got relief help from Joe Nathan who gained credit for his 28th save.
Barry Zito(2-16) was tagged with the loss.

The Yardley ballclub's record now stands at 64-50. Oakland can't seem to snap
out of their recent 'funk'. Now they have a miserable 1-9 record over the
last couple weeks.

It was a real slugfest in Wrigley Field where the very potent Wall St
Millionaires finally out-scored the reeling Colorado Scrub NL 2 by a score of
12 to 11 in 10 inning.

The score was tied at 11 after nine. Wall St won it in the 10th inning.
