WEB GEMS- Top 6th: David Murphy robbed Ben Zobrist of an extra base hit.

Left fielder Manny Ramirez rocketed 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI as the Cherry
Hill Maulers destroyed the Yardley Oaks by a score of 17 to 7 at Yankee
Stadium.

Ramirez was a source of great heartache for the Yardley faithful all evening.
He just kept pounding out hits! He bombed a two-run dinger in the 4th inning,
smashed a two-run homer (his 36th of the season) in the 6th inning and
singled scoring a run in the 8th inning. Cherry Hill provided plenty of
action in the 8th inning when they had 5 runs on 4 hits. The Cherry Hill
offense man-handled the Yardley pitching staff as they scored in 8 of the 9
innings.

Roy Halladay(17-6) went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing 7 runs for the win. The
loss was charged to Kevin Slowey(5-6). He served up 4 homeruns in his 7
innings.
