The score was tied at 3 after nine. Sea Isle was victorious in the 11th inning. Johnny Damon slapped a base-hit. After an out was recorded, Chase Utley stepped up to the plate and he was hit by a pitch. Jones then doubled giving Sea Isle the victory as 36,396 happy fans celebrated wildly. Sea Isle finished with 12 hits while Washington ended up with 9. The victory was credited to Will Ohman(1-3) who went 1 inning, allowing no runs. Francisco Cordero(6-8) was given the loss in relief. The win was credited to Aaron Cook(10-10) who went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing 3 runs. Andy Pettitte(4-13) was given the loss. He gave up 6 hits and 1 walk in 1 inning.
