Wright had a great evening at the plate. He lifted one out of the park for a
two run home run in the 1st inning, ripped a base-knock which was good for
two runs in the 6th inning and blasted a solo shot (his 22nd of the season)
in the 8th inning. Philadelphia simply wore out the Yardley pitching staff,
scoring in 6 different innings.

Tim Lincecum(17-5) got credit for the victory, pitching 6 and 1/3 innings and
allowing 4 runs. Felix Hernandez(8-10) was given the loss. He surrendered 7
hits and 1 walk in 1 and 2/3 innings.

It was another victory for Philadelphia at Yankee Stadium. Now their winning
streak stands at 6 games. Charlie Manual held court after the contest,
'Everything is coming up aces right now. It is important for our team to
ride this wave as long as we can. Every win is important.'
