First baseman Albert Pujols had 4 hits as the impressive Wall St Millionaires
destroyed the Pinehurst PinOaks by a score of 24 to 6 at Wrigley
Field.

Pujols was really 'in the zone'. He doubled in the 1st inning, laced a single
plating a run in the 5th inning, delivered a base-hit which was good for two
runs in the 6th inning and launched a Grand Slam homerun (his 31st of the
season) in the 8th inning. Wall St provided plenty of action in the 4th
inning when they had 6 runs on 5 hits and the 8th inning with 7 runs on 6
hits. Pinehurst was out-hit by Wall St, 23 hits to 10.

James Shields(18-4) allowed 6 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Jesse Litsch(6-15) was charged with the loss. He was knocked around
by Wall St, allowing 8 hits and 2 walks in 3 and 2/3 innings.

'I felt great out there tonight,' Pujols said, 'Maybe I should make a regular
habit of getting to bed on time!'

WEB GEMS- Top 7th: Coco Crisp robbed Prince Fielder of an extra base hit.

Ty Wigginton slammed a homerun and had 2 RBI at Yankee Stadium as the sizzling
Philadelphia Phranks beat the Yardley Oaks in 11 innings by the count of 5 to
2.

The game was deadlocked at 2 after nine full innings. Philadelphia came out
on top in the 11th inning. After an out was recorded, Prince Fielder opened
up the rally as he doubled. David Wright came next and he doubled. Kaz
Matsui then smacked a single. Matt Thornton then let one slip out of his
hand for a wild pitch. Matsui proceeded to steal third base. Alexei Ramirez
added his contribution to the rally and slapped a single. Stephen Drew was
the next batter, but he struck out. Philadelphia continued their aggressive
style with another stolen base. The game was a scoreless duel until the 7th
inning.

Russ Springer(1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 innings and allowing
no runs. Salomon Torres earned his 4th save. Gavin Floyd(16-6) was charged
with the loss. He allowed 3 runs and 7 hits in 10 and 1/3 innings.

No one has been able to stop Philadelphia lately as they lengthened their
winning streak to 7 games. Charlie Manual was happy with his team's
performance of late - 'They're playing solid ball right now' he said. 'Let's
hope they can stay focused.'
