Jair Jurrjens tossed a complete game and David Wright had 5 hits and 3 RBI as
the seemingly unstoppable Philadelphia Phranks clobbered the outmatched
Colorado Scrub NL 2, 15 to 4.

It was a good day for Philadelphia thanks to Wright. He doubled in the 1st
inning, slapped a one-base hit in the 3rd inning, doubled in the 4th inning,
smashed a two-run homer (his 23rd of the season) in the 6th inning and
slapped a base-hit which scored a run in the 8th inning. Philadelphia
provided plenty of action in the 4th inning when they had 5 runs on 5 hits.
Philadelphia totaled 17 hits on the night.

Jurrjens(10-7) lasted until the end allowing 4 runs for the win. Tim
Wakefield(2-15) was tagged with the loss. He was touched for 3 homeruns in
his 3 and 2/3 innings of work.

Philadelphia continued on their recent roll, their winning streak now reaching
8 games and counting. 'We're on quite a roll lately' said Charlie Manual. 'I
just hope we can keep it going.'

St Millionaires beat the Washington Scrub NL 1 by the count of 6 to 0.

The Wall St fans enjoyed the offense provided by Martin. He smashed a
bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 2nd inning, doubled which was good for two runs
in the 3rd inning and ripped a solo home run (his 12th of the season) in the
7th inning. Juan Cruz, after tossing a perfect ninth, was credited with his
1st save.

Edinson Volquez(13-10) was the winner allowing no runs in 6 and 2/3 innings.
Braden Looper(7-17) was charged with the loss. He got hit pretty hard,
allowing 11 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings.
