Dan Uggla hit a homerun and had 3 RBI as the very potent Sunshine State
Stalkers topped the Pinehurst PinOaks by a score of 12 to 7 at Dolphins
Stadium.

Sunshine State brought 7 runs across the plate in the 4th inning when they had
7 base hits. The big moment was provided by Uggla who elicited a roar from
the hometown fans when he bombed a two-run dinger (his 20th of the season).
Pinehurst threatened in the 9th but Sunshine State was able to put down the
rally.

The win went to Carlos Zambrano(16-5) who allowed no runs in 6 innings. Jesse
Litsch(6-16) took the loss. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 7
runs in 3 innings.

'We just made a lot of mistakes, mostly mental,' Dave Trembley said. 'It's
bad enough when the other team beats you, but when you start beating
yourselves, that's really bad.'
