Mark Buehrle was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game at Camden Yards as the Pinehurst PinOaks beat the Cherry Hill
Maulers by the count of 3 to 1.

Pinehurst came up with 2 runs in the 3rd inning with the help of 4 hits. A.J.
Pierzynski opened up the inning nicely when he reached on an error.
Pierzynski next to the plate and he doubled. One out later, Lyle Overbay was
the next batter, but he struck out. Ichiro Suzuki followed and he lined a
one-base hit. Evan Longoria came to the plate and stroked a base-hit.
Hideki Matsui kept the inning going and lined a single. That scoring would
be all that was needed. Pinehurst rapped out 8 hits for the night.

The win went to Buehrle(9-15) who allowed 1 run in the game. Roy Oswalt(10-10)
was the loser. With this win, Pinehurst has a 61-90 record. They have been
5-5 lately. With the loss Cherry Hill now has a record of 95-56.

Ty Wigginton collected 2 extra-base hits and had 2 RBI at Coors Field as the
impressive Philadelphia Phranks came back dramatically to top the pitiful
Colorado Scrub NL 2 by the score of 3 to 2.

Philadelphia won the game with a rally in the top of the 9th inning with 3
runs utilizing 5 base hits. Ryan Braun kicked off the action when he
doubled. Prince Fielder was next and he lined a base-hit. David Wright then
laced a one-base hit. Wigginton was up next and he tripled. After an out
was recorded, Stephen Drew came to the plate and doubled. The teams had been
locked in a scoreless duel until the 8th inning.

Russ Springer(2-0) allowed no runs in 1/3 of an inning, and picked up the
victory. Salomon Torres recorded the save, his 6th. Matt Lindstrom(0-1) was
the losing pitcher in relief. He gave up 3 hits and no walks in 1 inning.

Charlie Manual was all smiles after the game, 'To pull a game out in your last
at bats, is a beautiful feeling - and did you see how quiet it got out there?
You could have heard a pin drop when we took the lead. But, hey, that's what
makes baseball so great - as the great sage Yogi Berra says, 'it's not over
'til its over.'
