Right fielder Skip Schumaker smacked 2 homeruns and scored 4 times as the
Philadelphia Phranks defeated the Sunshine State Stalkers by a score of 6 to
5 at Citizen's Bank Park.

It was a good day for Philadelphia thanks to Schumaker. He blasted a solo
shot in the 1st inning, delivered a single in the 3rd inning, laced a
one-base hit in the 5th inning and lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' (his 2nd of
the season) in the 8th inning. Sunshine State threatened in the 9th but
Philadelphia was able to put down the rally.

The win went to Chad Billingsley(2-0) who allowed 5 runs in 8 innings. Salomon
Torres earned the save, his 2nd. Justin Duchscherer(0-2) suffered the loss.
He served up 3 homeruns in his 4 and 2/3 innings.

Despite losing Fredi Gonzalez was optimistic after the game. 'We'll get over
this one. Sometimes the breaks fall your way, sometimes they don't. Any one
of a dozen little things go different, and we come out on top.'
