In a dramatic ending, the Sunshine State Stalkers staged a comeback win over
the Atlanta Prohibitioners by the count of 8 to 6.

Sunshine State had the winning rally in the 9th inning when they scored 4 runs
on 2 hits. The crucial at-bat was provided by Kevin Youkilis who made the
home-town crowd a happy bunch when he launched a rocket-shot out of the park
for a Grand Slam homerun. Sunshine State had 12 hits for the afternoon.

Joakim Soria(1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 2/3 of an inning and
allowing no runs. Jose Valverde(0-2) was the loser in relief. He allowed
Sunshine State 3 runs in 2 innings of work.

Fredi Gonzalez was ebullient after the game, 'It's great to win a hard fought
game like that. Our guys just weren't going to be denied. And did you see
the fans - they were going wild! Yes sir, a very enjoyable win this
afternoon!'
