Paul Maholm(3-2) pitched well enough to earn the win. He surrendered 8 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings improving his ERA from 5.63 to 4.80. Boston was retired without difficulty in the 9th. Wall St took the lead for keeps in the 4th inning when they scored 2 runs on 2 hits. The key at-bat was by Albert Pujols who silenced the stadium when he cleared the fences for a two-run home run. Wall St managed 8 hits in their victory. Happ(3-1) allowed 2 runs on the game. The losing pitcher was Clayton Richard(0-1). He gave up 4 runs and 4 hits in 4 and 1/3 innings.
