Hafner provided the offensive punch. He lofted a three-run 'big-fly' in the 3rd inning and cracked a solo homerun in the 7th inning. Boston lit up the scoreboard in the 3rd inning with 3 runs on 3 hits and the 9th inning which saw them plate 3 runs on 3 hits.
