Robinson Tejeda was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and right fielder J.D. Drew had 4 hits and 5 RBI at McAfee
Coliseum as the seemingly unstoppable Minnesota SnowBirds beat the Oakland
Scrub AL 2 by the count of 11 to 3.

Drew enjoyed a big day at the plate. He doubled in the 3rd inning, stroked a
one-base hit which plated a run in the 5th inning, doubled scoring a run in
the 7th inning and lofted a three-run 'big-fly' in the 8th inning. Minnesota
banged out 18 hits on the afternoon.

The victory went to Tejeda(3-2) who went the distance allowing 3 runs. The
losing pitcher was Zach Duke(2-3). He got hit pretty hard, allowing 12 hits
and 2 walks in 6 innings.

'I had a big day, but there's a lot of credit to go around' Drew said. 'We
played well together as a team.'

John Maine came through with a solid 9 innings at Coors Field where the
Binghamton Brawlers beat the Wall St Millionaires 3 to 0.

Wall St never recovered after Binghamton took the lead in the 5th inning
scoring a single run on 2 hits. After an out was recorded, Angel Pagan

grounded into a double play. Binghamton rapped out 10 hits for the

For Maine(2-2) it was his 2nd shutout this year. Ted Lilly(0-2) was tagged

He kept coming after our hitters. Heck, why not. he kept sitting our guys
down one after another - like so many bowling pins!'
